Dr. Thomas Leahy - Veterinarian

Dr. Thomas Leahy grew up in the New York City area and served four years in the U.S. Air Force, including a tour in Vietnam.

Dr. Leahy graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tennessee Technological University in 1977, having majored in Biology and Wildlife Management. Following a year of independent veterinary studies in Sardinia, Italy, and experience working at a respected veterinary practice, Dr. Leahy matriculated at the University of Tennessee (Knoxville) College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 1983. He has served on the Board of the Virginia Veterinary Medical Association from 2009 to the present.

To serve pets across Virginia, Dr. Leahy alternates time between Plaza Pet Clinic and our sister clinic Roseville Veterinary Clinic in Winchester. When he is not working at the vet clinic, he enjoys international travel, photography, kayaking, fishing, and reading.
